The Reading Room uses poetry and literature to engage students with concepts of waste.

How to Use these Presentations: Presentations can be viewed via Google Slides, or you can download the presentations and adjust them to meet your classroom’s needs by clicking on the link and going to File > Download > Microsoft Powerpoint.

Hector the Collector (Grades K-2): This lesson helps young ones begin to think like innovators by exploring creative reuse.

Compare and Contrast with Hector and Sarah (Grades 3-5): This slideshow playfully encourages kids to compare and contrast two very different results of consumption.
