Every year after Mardi Gras you make a promise to yourself that next time you'll make a kick ass costume. And then, Mardi Gras shows up and you do it again, costume-less.
Well not this year, friend. This year you're going to make a kick ass costume and you're going to make it early. On February 16th you're going to the Green Project and making a light-weight, ultra-fast drying paper mache head mask with Kevin O'Sullivan. A man who, by the time Mardi Gras rolls around, generally has half of a costume, the head part.
Come by with a plan for what animal/celebrity/monstrosity you plan to model your mask after. The basic materials and some decorations are covered in the workshop cost, but feel free to bring any accoutrements you wish to bedazzle it with. Weather permitting, this workshop will be held outdoors so prepare for whatever spontaneous weather we are in store for and plan to stay for about 2-3 hours.
This workshop is for adults and children ages 10+ with an adult supervisor.
