Tidying up? Looking for decorative shelving ideas? Learn the basics of building and installing shelves at our Modular Shelving Workshop led by Andrew, our Reuse Coordinator. PLUS learn how to make modular shelving, such as hexagonal honeycombs and stackable box organizers. 

Attendees will:

• Learn over the basics of cutting wood and plywood with tools

• Use a circular saw, miter saw and table saw

• Learn how to securely fasten shelving with nails and screws

• Learn how to safely and securely install your shelves once you take them home

Cost of attendance includes one shelving unit to take home! Attendees are welcome to stay after the workshop for MakerSpace hours from 1pm-4pm to make additional shelves with your own materials (bring in your own, or purchase from TGP!)
