YOU’RE GIVING STUFF AWAY—FOR FREE?
YES! We understand that much of our community is in need and our inability to be open over the last few months has been tough on many customers that rely on our affordable goods for their livelihoods.
We are opening our store, for free, so that residents can get much needed supplies for their projects, art, work, etc.
That said, sharing is caring—we ask that you take what you need and will use and leave enough for others.
HOW CAN YOU DO THIS? ARE YOU CLOSING?
No! We are not closing. We’re throwing this event using a tiny staff, volunteers and materials donated by the community. We are still fundraising for our re-opening efforts through GiveNOLA and our website. We will, however, be doing a bit of re-organizing before officially re-opening in July 2020. Stay tuned!
HOW IT WORKS
20 customers or customer groups (parties of up to 3) will be allowed in the store every 30 minutes, beginning at 10am. After 30 minutes are up, we will clear the store and the next round will be let in. You may drop in and stand in line, or schedule an appointment time online for times between 10am-1pm. After 1pm, there will only be drop-ins.
RULES
Masks are a must.
Please do not come if you are feeling ill or have a fever, or if you have been around someone who is ill.
Only one appointment per person may be made. If you make multiple appointments, they will be cancelled to give others the opportunity.
Up to three shoppers per party will be allowed entrance.
Parties will have 30 minutes to shop; you may re-enter after 30 minutes if you wait in line again.
All materials are first come, first served.
No holds or returns! Merchandise must be taken immediately.
Only take what you need! Please leave what you won’t actually use for others.
Store infrastructure (racks/shelves/displays) are not available.
Green Project staff have the right to refuse service or refuse the taking of certain non-free merchandise (i.e., store infrastructure).
