TGP participates in the Tricentennial Service Challenge
In recent months, the Green Project has participated in the Tricentennial Service Challenge, a partnership between United Way of Southeast Louisiana, HandsOn New Orleans and NetWork Volunteers that encourages 300,000 hours of service in New Orleans through 300 projects.
Since January, we’ve logged 3132.5 hours through our volunteer programs! Our volunteers come from all walks of life. Students, community members, businesses and more help us reclaim paint and building materials, educate residents and empower communities.
What’s more, United Way of Southeast Louisiana has awarded the Green Project $1,000 for reaching over 1,000 service hours! We couldn’t be more proud of our volunteers and our community. Here are some highlights from the past few months…
